DIY Snowglobe Tumbler

Snow Globe Kit Instructions:

1. Add 0.5-1 inch of solution to your cup. This will help your glitter from clumping on the rim.

2. Use a napkin to wipe any solution from the bottom/hole of the cup to ensure a dry surface for adding glitter.

3. Add glitter ¼ at a time – measure with your heart!

4. Between every ¼ part of glitter, add solution.

5. Repeat steps #3-4 until you’ve added the desired amount of glitter.

6. Fill the cup up with solution. Once filled…

7. Remove the air from the bubble using syringe.

a. Overflow the top of the hole with solution.

b. Use syringe to suck air from the bubble and the solution overflow will displace the air.

c. Leave a dime sized bubble to allow for expansion when temperatures change.

8. Use the plug to seal the snow globe and shake to incorporate the glitter and solution until well mixed.

9. Repeat step #7 if necessary.

10. Seal the snow globe with the plug.

11. Use the alcohol pad to wipe down the base of your cup or use a mild dish soap and warm water to wash and rid the cup of any oils on the surface. Allow cup to dry thoroughly.

12. Apply UV DTF . Allow UV DTF to cure for 24 hours before you wash and use your tumbler.

Optional: If you’d like to seal your snow globe permanently with UV resin (not provided). Prep the bottom of the snow globe with a light sand. Then apply the UV resin and cure with UV light.

2. 0.5 oz (in weight) XL glitter from Sassy Cow Co.

3. measuring cup & dixie cup

4. stir stick

5. Magic Flow solution from 2 Mom’s Craft Shack

6. alcohol wipe

7. bent tip syringe

8. UV DTF wrap from Sweary Kim Tumblers & More or 216 Tumblers
